What stopped on September 5, 2026
Jito posted its ShredStream deprecation notice in early July 2026 and pointed users to DoubleZero Edge. Since September 5, Jito's infrastructure no longer authenticates proxies or sends shreds, so its own shredstream-proxy has nothing to connect to.
Shreds themselves didn't go away, only Jito's delivery of them, so moving is an endpoint change, not a rebuild. We maintain a fork of the proxy without the shutdown switch, and run the gateway it talks to. Your socket and deshredding code stay exactly as they are.

Migrate in four steps

Sign in to the AllenHark console, open Jito Shreds, and submit your existing keypair's public key for whitelisting. You keep the keypair your shredstream-proxy already authenticates with; there is no new key to generate.

Clone and build allenhark-shredstream-proxy, a fork of Jito's shredstream-proxy that we maintain without the shutdown switch. Same CLI flags, same auth flow.
Point --block-engine-url at AllenHark
Set your proxy's --block-engine-url to https://fra.jito.allenhark.network. Your socket and deshredding code don't change. --desired-regions is accepted but not used for routing: the gateway serves from Frankfurt.
Confirm shreds are flowing
Watch your --dest-ip-ports for packets from the AllenHark gateway during the 24-hour trial, then subscribe. Jito's own proxy stopped working on September 5, 2026; ours keeps running.
