Real-Time Block Data

Solana ShredStream

ShredStream reads Solana at the source — the block data validators exchange while a block is still being produced. Shared gRPC streams decoded ledger entries with the transactions already parsed out; Direct UDP streams the raw data and coding shreds themselves. Either way you see transactions before RPC confirmation, giving trading systems and analytics platforms a head start no RPC or WebSocket feed can match.

Key Features

Direct Shreds Streaming

Receive raw Solana block data in real-time as it is produced.

Low Latency

Optimized for high-frequency trading and real-time analytics.

Flexible Delivery

Shared gRPC for decoded entries, or Direct UDP for raw shreds. Frankfurt and Amsterdam.

Key-Scoped Access

Every stream is authenticated with your own API key and scoped to the IPs you whitelist.

Easy Integration

Compatible with analytics platforms, trading bots, and monitoring systems.

FAQ

Q: What are Shreds?

A: Shreds are the fragments of a Solana block that validators exchange over Turbine while the block is still being produced. Reading them lets you ingest blockchain data at the earliest possible stage. On Direct UDP you receive the data and coding shreds themselves; on Shared gRPC we decode them for you and stream ledger entries with the transactions already parsed.

Q: Do I need special software to use Shreds?

A: For Shared gRPC, any gRPC client plus our shredstream.proto — the connection is plaintext h2c, authenticated with an x-api-key header. Direct UDP needs a listener that can read raw shreds. Our documentation has working snippets for both.

Q: Are Shreds included with RPC or gRPC plans?

A: No, Shreds is a separate service due to the high bandwidth and processing requirements.

Q: How do I get access to AllenHark Shreds?

A: Buy a Shreds plan directly in the AllenHark console — credentials are issued instantly. See pricing for shared gRPC and Direct UDP tiers.

Q: Can I test Shreds before subscribing?

A: Yes — every account can start a free 1-hour trial directly from the AllenHark console for both Shared (gRPC) and Direct (UDP) delivery before committing to a paid plan.
