Solana Wallet Copy Trader

The Solana Wallet Copy Trader follows the wallets you choose. When one of them buys a token, the bot checks the trade against your rules and, if it passes, buys the same token with the amount you set. It then sells by your own exits, and it can also sell when the wallet you copied sells.

It runs on your own server and trades from your own bot wallet. Nobody else holds your SOL or your keys, there is no shared vault, and every rule is yours.

Coming from SolTrace? The Solana Wallet Copy Trader uses SolTrace's setting names where it can, so the ideas will be familiar, but it is a separate product: SolTrace accounts, vaults and wallet lists don't move over. Add the wallets you follow again by pasting their addresses.

Set it up

  1. Deploy the bot. Choose the Solana Wallet Copy Trader on allenhark.com/bots and pay. Your server is set up for you and your bot wallet is created on it; Quick start shows each screen.
  2. Add the wallets to follow. Open Wallets to follow and paste each wallet's address, with a label you'll recognise. See Wallets to follow below.
  3. Choose how careful it should be. Pick a starter or a Style, and how much each copy spends.
  4. Practise first. The bot starts in practice: it copies the real trades of the wallets you follow with virtual SOL, and nothing is sent. Fees and slippage are counted. Let it run long enough to see how the wallets you chose actually trade.
  5. Add SOL and go live. Send SOL to your bot wallet from Wallet, then press Go live and confirm with your PIN. From then on it copies with real SOL, within your limits.

You can go back to practice from the bot's menu at any time.

Wallets to follow

Each wallet you follow has its own card:

  • Label and an on/off switch. A wallet switched off stays on your list but isn't copied.
  • Size: a fixed amount of SOL, a share of what the wallet spent, a share of your bot wallet's SOL, or the default size you set under Spend per copy. A new wallet uses the default size.
  • Slippage for the buys copied from this wallet.
  • Confidence: the bot copies only trades it is sure enough were the wallet's own. A trade the wallet signed itself scores higher than one sent for it by a router; a trade it can't attribute clearly is skipped.
  • Safety rails for this wallet only, for example "don't copy their buys above this much SOL".
  • Blocked tokens for this wallet only. Never copy these tokens blocks a token whoever buys it.

How many you can follow. Your plan sets how many wallets you may follow (Wallets you may follow), and one Solana Wallet Copy Trader follows at most 200. The page shows how many you have, for example "3 of 200". When your list is full, adding another is refused with a message saying so: remove a wallet to make room, or ask support if your plan allows fewer than you need. The bot also refuses to save a list that is over the limit, a wallet listed twice, or an address that isn't a Solana wallet, and the Strategy page tells you which one.

Choose the wallets yourself and check their history first. A wallet that did well last month can do badly this month.

How it works

1. It watches the wallets

The bot reads the trades of every wallet you follow through its own Yellowstone gRPC connection, and checks over RPC as well, to catch trades the stream missed (for example trades sent through a router, or while the connection was reconnecting).

With the Early shred detection add-on, it also sees the wallets' trades in the shreds from the AllenHark market feed, before they land. It is optional, and the bot works without it. A trade that reaches the bot too long after it happened is skipped rather than copied late (Copy only trades seen within, in Advanced).

2. It checks the copy

A buy is copied only if it passes every check:

CheckIn plain words
Whose trade it isThe bot is sure enough the trade was the wallet's own (the wallet's Confidence).
Blocked tokensThe token isn't on your Never copy these tokens list or on that wallet's own list.
Safety levelThe token's pool, age, authorities, slippage and price impact pass your Entry filters (see the next section).
Your own filtersThe token's market cap is inside your range, and the wallet spent at least the amount you set, if you set one.
The wallet's safety railsAnything you set for that wallet only.
A token you already holdWhen they buy a token you hold decides: skip it, add to your position, or open a new one.
Your limitsYou're under your budget, your most positions at once and your most SOL in one token, and today's loss limit hasn't been reached.

Every skip shows on the bot's page with its reason in plain words.

If the data for one filter can't be read (for example the pool's size), that filter is passed over and the copy goes ahead, except Mint and freeze authority revoked, which skips the copy when it can't be checked.

3. It buys

The bot works out the size from the wallet's size rule and buys through the AllenHark relay, with the wallet's slippage as the limit on how far the price may move. If the price moves further, the buy doesn't go through and you pay only the network fee.

4. It sells

Your Exits are a list checked in order, every time the bot prices your open positions; the first one that matches sells:

  • Stop loss and Take profit, which the Simple controls set for you;
  • Trailing stop, Scale out, a time limit, and a price or market cap target;
  • mirror sells: sell the same share the wallet sells, or sell everything when it sells everything.

Without a mirror sell in your list, a sell by the wallet you copied doesn't make the bot sell: your own exits decide. If they sell while your copy is still landing, the sell waits and runs as soon as your copy lands; if your copy doesn't land, there's nothing to sell. If the token's pool can't take the sell, the bot can sell through a swap aggregator instead (on by default, in Advanced).

Safety level

The Solana Wallet Copy Trader's Style is its safety level. Each level sets five entry filters for you: how much the pool must hold, how old the token must be, whether its mint and freeze authority must be revoked, and the most slippage and price impact a copy may take.

StyleSolana Wallet Copy Trader
SaferSafety level High: only pools with $100k or more, 30 minutes old, authorities revoked.
BalancedSafety level Medium: pools with $50k or more, 3 minutes old, authorities revoked.
RiskierSafety level Low: any pool and age, wider slippage. Copies more, with more risk.

Custom keeps the five filters exactly as you write them in Expert settings. Changing a filter by hand makes the level Custom.

Your settings, grouped

Simple mode has the controls most people need: budget, spend per copy, take profit, stop loss, daily loss limit, Style, and Speed (Normal, Fast or Fastest: the priority fee you pay; slippage stays each wallet's own). The starters set all of them at once:

StarterWhat it does
CautiousSafety level High and small copies. Sells everything at 1.5x or 20 % down, and when they sell.
BalancedSafety level Medium. Sells half at 2x, everything at 30 % down, and the same share they sell.
AggressiveSafety level Low and bigger copies. Sells half at 3x and lets the rest ride. More reward, more risk.

Expert settings has every setting, in these groups:

  • Wallets to follow: the list above.
  • Copying: the default size and spend per copy, what happens when they buy a token you hold, the tokens never copied, and (Advanced) the venues to copy on, the smallest copy worth sending (0.01 SOL to start) and the practice balance.
  • Entry filters: the safety level and its five filters, plus your own market cap range and the smallest buy of theirs worth copying.
  • Caps: your budget, daily loss limit, most positions at once, and most of your SOL in one token.
  • Selling: your exits, and (Advanced) sell slippage, how often positions are checked, and the aggregator.
  • Detection: Early shred detection, and (Advanced) the gRPC and RPC checks and how late a trade may be seen.
  • Execution: the priority fee, the relay tip and your own fast senders.

The Solana Wallet Copy Trader settings reference lists every setting with its range and starting value.

Risks

  • Copying a wallet doesn't copy its results. You always buy after the wallet you follow, at a price its own buy has already moved, and often after other copiers. On thin tokens that difference alone can turn their gain into your loss.
  • Their sells can come before yours. A mirror sell starts when the bot sees their sell, so the price may already have fallen.
  • Early copies can follow a trade that fails. With Early shred detection, a copy can go out before the wallet's own trade lands. If the bot learns their trade failed before its copy is sent, it sends none. A copy already sent stays, and your exits sell it.
  • Wallets can be bait. Some wallets know they are copied, buy to draw copiers in and sell into them. Prefer wallets you have watched in practice, and keep your size small.
  • Filters reduce risk; they don't remove it. A token can pass every filter and still go to zero, or become hard to sell.
  • Practice is a guide, not a forecast. Practice counts fees and slippage, but it can't know how a live buy would have moved the price for others.

Only trade with SOL you can afford to lose. See the Risk disclosure.
