Troubleshooting

"It bought nothing"

This is the most common question, and usually it's the bot doing its job. Most launches don't pass your filters, and the safer your Style, the fewer it buys.

Home's Right now line says why, for example "Bought nothing for 40 min: 38 launches skipped: the creator's own buy was too small". The bot's Activity lists every launch it saw and why each one was skipped. Here is every reason it can give:

What the app saysWhat it means and what to do
Skipped: the creator's own buy was too smallNormal: most launches are skipped for this. If you want more buys, choose a riskier Style, or lower “Dev buy at least” in Expert settings.
Skipped: the creator bought too much of itThe creator holds a lot and could sell on you. A riskier Style allows bigger creator buys.
Skipped: not enough real buyersThe launch looked like a bot-made token. Leave this on.
Skipped: seen too late to buy earlyThe bot saw the launch too long after it happened to buy early. Nothing to do; if it happens all the time, Home shows a connection problem.
Skipped: this creator is blockedThis creator lost you money before. Nothing to do.
Skipped: not an official launchpad addressThe token's address doesn't end the way the launchpad's official tokens do. Expert settings can turn this check off, but it's a good guard.
Skipped: the creator launches too oftenThe creator launched another token minutes ago, which is often a sign of spam.
Skipped: a launch type you turned offA special launch type you turned off (for example cashback tokens), or a token created inside another program rather than directly, which is most often a bundle. Turn it on in Expert settings if you want them (“Launches made by other programs” for the second).
Skipped: already holding the most tokens you allowThe bot already holds as many tokens as you allow. It buys again when one sells. A riskier Style holds more at once.
Skipped: your budget is in useYour budget is in trades right now. It buys again when a trade closes, or raise your budget.
Skipped: today's loss limit was reachedYou reached today's loss limit, so buying stopped until midnight. Selling carries on.
Skipped: buying is pausedBuying is paused. Press Resume buying on the bot's page, or in Pause all.
Skipped: not enough momentumSolana Momentum Sniper only: the token isn't climbing enough yet. Most tokens never are.
Skipped: outside your trading hoursIt's outside the trading hours you set on the Schedule page.
Skipped: not enough SOL in the walletNot enough SOL (or practice SOL) for the next buy. Add SOL, lower your spend per token, or reset practice.
Skipped: your plan ended, so the bot only sellsYour plan ended, so the bot only sells. Renew in Billing to buy again.
Skipped: the buy didn't go throughThe buy didn't go through. You paid only the network fee: when the buy reached the chain and failed there (most often because the price moved past your slippage), that fee shows as a trade in Trades. A few of these are normal on busy launches; many in a row show on Home as a problem.
Skipped: priced in another token, which the bot can't buy with SOLThe token is priced in another token (such as USDC or a stock) and there is no good way to buy it with SOL right now.
Skipped: the market data feed is down, so buying waits for itThe bot's market data feed is down, so buying waits. It still sells what it holds. Nothing to do: it buys again on its own when the feed is back.
Skipped: too little SOL in the poolSolana Graduation, MC Breakout and Dip Snipers: the pool holds too little SOL to buy and sell safely. Lower the minimum liquidity in Expert settings if you want smaller pools.
Skipped: the creator holds too much of itThe creator still holds a big share of the supply and could sell on you. A riskier Style allows a bigger creator share.
Skipped: too few holdersToo few wallets hold the token yet. Lower the minimum holders in Expert settings if you want earlier buys.
Skipped: outside the token age you allowThe token is newer or older than the age range you set. Change the range in Expert settings.
Skipped: this token is on your blocklistThe token is on your blocklist. Remove it from the list if you want the bot to buy it.
Skipped: the bot can't trade on this pool yetThe token trades on a pool the bot can't buy on yet. Nothing to do.
Skipped: the big sell was the creator's ownSolana Dip Sniper only: the big sell came from the token's creator, which is a warning sign rather than a dip worth buying. Leave this on.
Skipped: the pool lost too much of its SOLSolana Dip Sniper only: the pool lost too much of its SOL from its high, so the drop looks like more than a dip. A riskier Style allows deeper drops.
Skipped: too many sells in a rowSolana Dip Sniper only: too many sells came in a row, so the selling may not be over. A riskier Style allows longer streaks.
Skipped: bought this token recentlyThe bot bought this token a short while ago and waits before buying it again. Shorten the cooldown in Expert settings.
Skipped: already bought it the most times allowed todaySolana Dip Sniper only: the bot already bought this token as many times today as you allow. It can buy it again tomorrow.
Skipped: no bounce after the dipSolana Dip Sniper only: the price didn't bounce after the dip in time, so the bot didn't buy. Most dips aren't followed by a bounce.
Skipped: your watchlist is fullYour watchlist holds the most tokens allowed. Remove one to watch another.
Skipped: not sure it was the wallet's own tradeSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the bot wasn't sure the trade was made by the wallet you follow itself. Lower the wallet's minimum confidence in Expert settings to copy more.
Skipped: it didn't pass your copy filtersSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the trade failed one of your copy filters (pool size, market cap, price impact, the wallet's buy size, token age or the token's mint and freeze settings). Change the filters in Expert settings.
Skipped: already holding the most copies you allowSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: you already hold as many copies, or as much of this token, as you allow. It copies again when a position sells.
Skipped: already holding it, and you skip buying moreSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the wallet bought a token you already hold and you chose not to buy more. Turn on re-buys in Expert settings if you want them.
Skipped: the copy would be too smallSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the copy would be smaller than the smallest trade worth sending. Raise your copy size.
Skipped: no way to trade itSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the bot has no way to trade the token where the wallet traded it. Nothing to do.
Skipped: a Mayhem coin, and Mayhem coins are off in this bot's settingsA pump.fun Mayhem coin (2 B supply, half of it traded by pump.fun's AI agent, so the price swings hard) and you turned Mayhem coins off. Turn Mayhem coins back on in the bot's entry filters if you want them.
Skipped: below your minimum profit after every costSolana Arbitrage Bot only: the price gap would leave less than your minimum profit after every cost. Normal: most gaps are too small. Nothing to do. With a relay tip in the message, the trade could only go without the tip, and your deployment has no relay key for that.
Skipped: simulated first, it came out below your minimum profitSolana Arbitrage Bot only: the trade was simulated first and came out under your minimum profit, or failed, so it wasn't sent and cost nothing. Nothing to do.
Skipped: today's limit on fees and tips is reachedSolana Arbitrage Bot only: today's fees and tips, or today's failed trades' fees, reached your daily cap. It trades again after midnight, or raise the cap within what your deployment allows.
Skipped: the most trades a minute you allowSolana Arbitrage Bot: it already made as many trades this minute as you allow, and trades again next minute. Solana Momentum Sniper: it already bought as many times in the last hour as you allow (“Most buys an hour”), and buys again as the hour rolls on.
Stopped trading after too many failed trades in a row. Start the bot again to resumeSolana Arbitrage Bot only: it stopped after too many failed trades in a row. Look at the failed trades in Trades, then start the bot again.
Skipped: this token can't be traded safelySolana Arbitrage Bot only: the token has a transfer fee, a transfer hook, can't be transferred, starts frozen or can be paused, so it can't be traded safely in one transaction. Remove it from your watchlist.
Skipped: the wallet's trade failed, so no copy was sentSolana Wallet Copy Trader only: the wallet's trade failed or never landed, and the bot knew before its copy went out, so it sent none. Nothing to do. If the copy was already out, it stands and your exits sell it.
Waiting: no trades on your watched tokens lately, so no dip can triggerSolana Dip Sniper only: none of the tokens on your watchlist traded for a while, so no dip can happen. Nothing is wrong with the bot. Add tokens that trade now to your watchlist.

Check first:

  • Is the bot running, and is buying not paused? (Home shows the state next to each bot.)
  • Is at least one launchpad on? The Solana Block-0 Sniper buys nothing without one.
  • Is there enough SOL, or practice SOL, for the next buy? Fees need a little on top.
  • Are you inside your trading hours, if you set a schedule?
  • Did you hit your budget or daily loss limit?

If none of these apply and it has still bought nothing for hours, a riskier Style buys more often. Try it in practice first.

"Sell failed"

A sell can fail when the price moves more than your slippage allows, when the transaction doesn't go through in time, or when the network refuses it. The bot retries automatically with a fresh price. If it still can't sell, Activity says, for example, "Couldn't sell after 3 tries, the price moved too fast. The tokens are still in your wallet", and you get a "couldn't sell" alert.

Your tokens are not lost. They are in your wallet under Tokens held:

  • press Sell to try again yourself (if the token's normal pool is gone, the bot routes the sell through a swap aggregator);
  • or press Let the bot manage it to hand it back to the strategy.

If you do nothing, the bot sells them itself: about every minute it looks in its wallet for tokens it bought that nothing is selling, and once a failed sell has waited 2 minutes with no new try, it sells them on their own pool. Activity says "Sold tokens left in your wallet after earlier sells failed". It tries a token at most 3 times an hour. Tokens you bought or sent yourself are never touched. In Advanced, Check for unsold tokens every sets how often (0 turns it off) and Sell again after a failed sell sets the wait.

Some tokens can't be sold at any price: the pool was emptied (a rug). There is nothing the bot or AllenHark can do about those. When tokens are worth less than the fee to sell them, the bot keeps them and Activity says so ("Kept in your wallet: worth … SOL, less than the … SOL fee to sell").

Connection problems

Home shows one line for the server's connections: "Connections: all good". If something is wrong it says what it means for you, for example "Buys may be slower right now. Nothing for you to do." We see the same problems and fix them on our side; your limits keep working meanwhile.

If a bot shows Having issues or stops:

  • You get a "Problems" alert explaining it, if you connected Telegram. Your SOL is safe in the bot's wallet.
  • If a bot stopped, open its page and press Start. It doesn't start itself after you stop it.
  • If it says Paused by AllenHark, contact us.
  • Only selling or Trading stopped means your plan has ended; see Limits and safety.

If the app itself can't reach your server, the page says "Can't reach it right now". The bot keeps trading by your rules on the server meanwhile; try again in a few minutes.

Tokens stuck in the wallet

Tokens held (in Wallet) lists tokens in the wallet that the bot isn't managing: tokens left when you chose Stop and keep tokens, tokens it couldn't sell, and tokens you sent there yourself. Each has Sell and Let the bot manage it.

Each token you've held also leaves a small empty account that holds a little SOL. In Advanced mode, Wallet's Recover rent closes the empty ones and gives you back about 0.002 SOL each (PIN needed).

Practice or live?

  • Practice uses virtual SOL (10 to start). Its numbers are grey and marked Practice, and nothing is sent to the network. Real launches, pretend money.
  • Live uses the real SOL in your wallet. Live numbers are in colour.
  • They are never added together. Your practice result is not money in your wallet; adding SOL does nothing until you go live.
  • The bot's header always says which it is ("Running · Practice" or "Running · Live"), and every alert from practice says "(Practice)".
  • Going live is a guided step with your PIN. Going back to practice is in the bot's menu.
  • Reset practice gives the practice wallet a fresh balance and starts its numbers again. It doesn't touch your real wallet.
